A year at our school
Naidoc Day
Our school community came together to celebrate NAIDOC Day, a significant occasion dedicated to acknowledging the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The day was filled with vibrant activities, learning opportunities, and a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage that is an integral part of our nation's identity.
Kindy Zoo Excursion
Our Kindy Zoo Excursion provides students with a wonderful opportunity to explore and learn about farm life and animals.
Students have the chance to interact with a variety of farm animals, including sheep, cows, and chickens. They participate in hands-on activities such as feeding the animals, learning about their care, and discovering where our food comes from. The excursion also includes guided tours and educational sessions, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of farming and the environment.
Book Parade
Events like the Book Parade are not only enjoyable but play an important role in fostering literacy and a lifelong passion for reading within our school community.
Our Book Parade is a vibrant display of creativity and imagination, with students dressing up as their favourite book characters. From classic fairy tales to modern adventures, the variety of costumes is truly impressive and showcased the diverse interests of our young readers.
